OVERVIEW & IMPACT:

We are looking for a seasoned Sales and Biz Dev manager for Samsung Foundry. The individual will work to develop, acquire and grow new accounts for our expanding Foundry business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in the business and customer management side of the semiconductor industry. Good understanding of the Foundry industry and semiconductor technology is a must. A large network in the semiconductor industry will be a huge plus.

General Responsibilities:

  • Generate and drive new accounts to successful engagements including some of the largest Foundry and HPC customers.
  • Lead account management from the point of first contact to final on-boarding.
  • Good understanding of semiconductor process technology in order to be able to articulate Samsungs strengths and craft a solution based upon customers needs.
  • Work with various internal organizations (including Marketing, Technology & Engineering, Finance, Legal and Headquarter team) to lead successful marketing pitches, RFQs and eventual design awards.
  • Once an account gets converted and project awarded, lead contract negotiations and eventually manage sales and overall engagement progress.
  • Assimilate industry and customer requirements to feed into marketing knowledge-base.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15 year or more experience in semiconductor industry, particularly close to Foundries and supply chain in a customer facing role.
  • Proven experience in semiconductor marketing/sales/business development roles with track record of closing complex deals.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated with strong drive to win.
  • Team player with the ability to work across diverse cross-functional teams spread across the world.
  • Relationship manager with a vast network and experience working with Executives. Excellent oral, written, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Leadership skills to influence all levels of the organization. MSEE and MBA or advanced degree in physical science PREFERRED.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Good understanding of advanced node semiconductor process technology, IP ecosystem and industry landscape.
  • Demonstrated results in establishing creative partnerships.
  • Familiarity with various engagement models such as ASIC, COPD and COT.
  • Experience with managing Foundry sales with a diverse set of customers.
