Since 1941, the USO has been the nation's leading organization to serve the men and women in the U.S. military, and their families, throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back to their communities, the USO is always by their side.

Today's USO continuously adapts to the needs of our men and women in uniform and their families, so they can focus on their very important mission. We operate USO centers at or near military installations across the United States and throughout the world, including in combat zones, and even un-staffed USO service sites in places too dangerous for anyone but combat troops to occupy.

As a member of the region leadership team, the Senior Development & Board Relations Officer is responsible for successful implementation of fundraising strategies, revenue generation, and board development/engagement across the West Region. The region is comprised of the nine western-most U.S. states, excluding Hawaii. Eight local USOs, each led by an executive director that reports to the region president, are responsible for operating 41 USO centers. From those centers, USO West delivers programs, entertainment and services to troops and military families at over 100 military installations and major airports.

The West Region team is collaborative, spirited, hard-working and dedicated to the USO mission. From Barrow, AK to Ft. Huachuca, AZ, on land, at sea and in the air, we make sure the USO keeps our troops connected to family home and country. No two days will be alike, and few days will likely end at eight hours. Expect evening , weekend and holiday work, and be prepared to get your hands dirty and your shirt sweaty when the occasion calls for it. We don't shy away from difficult, it just may take us a little longer. Bring your sense of humor and creativity we thrive on it.
