PT Administrative Assistant II

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as clerk/office assistant to the Director and Coordinator in supporting the enlarged role of the recently expanded Campus Service office which provides support for the evening and weekend classes, extension centers, and the University Center and facility and service management, including:
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the campus-wide electronic messaging system.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of our Conference Marketing efforts and material projection.
  • Coordinate college services to support conferencing and university center
  • Assisting adjunct faculty members in completing employment paper work for the Central campus ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Maintenance of adjunct faculty tracking logs and files.
  • Assist with processing room requests for internal events and instructional needs including campus work orders.
  • Maintain weekly activity logs and event calendar for Central
  • Internal Office Duties
  • Work orders for copier maintenance
  • Campus work orders for community event set-up
  • Assist with adjunct and office file maintenance Assist adjunct faculty with needs regarding their rooms/locks
  • Process Key Requests
  • Process Vehicle Requests
  • Campus Lost and Found
  • Must be able to work nights from 6-10pm



Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • A minimum two (2 )- three (3) years of experience in office environment with experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with the Banner or other information management tools would be very helpful.
  • We desire a self-motivated, honest individual with excellent communication, public relation skills, and a fast learner.
  • Must have excellent front office and telephone skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with little supervision.
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills a must.

  • We are interested in a person who is self-motivated and able to work independently on projects with the ability to work in a cooperative manner with other full-time and part-time staff as a productive team member supporting the total effort of the unit.
  • Flexibility and good humor is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in higher education preferred.
  • Experience with HR documentation processing and events scheduling a plus.
