The Mechanical Account Manager is responsible for executing the Compu Dynamic sales strategy, initial contact with existing and potential customers, identify needs and sell products and services to meet those needs.

1. Generate new product leads and business opportunities that will translate into company revenue

2. Prospect, propose and close on new revenue opportunities

3. Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base

4. Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales

5. Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via phone and email to cross-sell ad up-sell

6. Network online, by phone and e-mail

7. Maintain thorough knowledge of mission critical power and cooling industry trends and technologies

8. Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects

9. Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients, vendors and colleagues; works to establish a positive working relationship

10. Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment

Work Environment:
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc. Work is often required after normal working hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit, including as a driver or passenger of an automobile; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs/ladders; talk or hear; move around at construction and other work sites; maneuver in small or tight places. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type:

Required Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent education and experience;

2. 1-3 years of inside sales experience in either of the following industries: Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Data Center

1. Understanding of data center critical power and cooling systems

2. 1-3 years' experience working with IT companies, colocations and end users who manage and maintain data center infrastructure
