POSITION SUMMARYThe Wound Care RN Supervisor will work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure evidence based wound care is provided across the continuum. Strong leadership, communication, clinical judgment and critical thinking skills are required.
The Supervisor will ensure the delivery of high quality, cost effective care that meets current practice standards, while complying with all regulatory requirements. Through effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, the Supervisor supports quality improvement and standardization efforts. The Supervisor recommends and assists with the implementation of hospital policy and practices concerning legislation, regulatory requirements, changing business environments and community needs.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Bachelors Degree preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Licensed by the State of New Jersey as a Registered Nurse. WOCN and BLS Certification required.
EXPERIENCE: 3 years in applicable specialty area
