ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements (Federal and multi-state) related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance and business ethics.
  • Interacts effectively with management with influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to keep pace within a changing environment while managing competing priorities.
  • The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units financial position, its strategic business plans, its culture and its competition.
  • Coordinates/partners with the appropriate HR staff (Divisional and Global), HR Centers of Excellence, and business staff in other departments on resolution of issues and problems.
  • Participates and/or leads divisional and/or global HR projects and initiatives.
  • Additional HR administrative tasks as needed.


This role is a 4 month contract.

ABOUT YOU
  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in managing complex projects in a human resources or related function for 5+ years
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation and benefits practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, recruitment, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Understanding of HR legal compliance requirements as well as understanding of HR programs relative to support of business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an environment of change and manage multiple priorities concurrently through strong project management, systems knowledge, and effective communication.
  • Demonstrated track record of taking initiative, having a sense of urgency, and proactively proposing solutions to challenges.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills. Ability to work with Excel and PowerPoint and HRIS systems is required.
  • Well-developed critical thinking and analytical abilities
  • PHR or SPHR preferred.


Position Location: This position can be done remotely in the United States.
