OverviewThis position is primarily responsible for applying NFL and special order decals to hard hats, packing and preparing for shipping. This position is also responsible for pulling all materials necessary for the job. Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as they relate to the production and companys objective is required. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.
Responsibilities- Apply decals to hard hats
- Assemble, pack and prepare hard hats for shipment
- Pull material necessary for the job and heat treat hard hats
- Interpret all job related documentation
- Recognize acceptable logos, process deficiencies, and make compensating adjustments
- Responsible for quality, productivity, material handling, and completion of all necessary paperwork
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand drawings and work instructions
- Ability to understand standard units of measure
- Ability to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices
- Ability to sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporaries.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Ability to operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area
- Ability to wear safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved, steel toe shoes and/or other PPE as required
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 months previous manufacturing or related experience
