The Custodial Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all the company's office buildings and plant sites. This position is also responsible for cleaning and maintaining shop machinery. The Custodial Technician will assist the Facilities & Maintenance Lead in any and all cleaning/maintenance activities.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs routine maintenance activities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
• Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions.
• Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
• Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Responsible for managing the shop recycling.
• General cleaning and maintenance of shop machinery (i.e., coolant and chip tanks)
• Follows procedures for the use of cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage.
• Drives vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including industrial trucks, vans, or cleaners.
• Notifies manager regarding the need for repairs or addition to building operating systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
