Associations Mission: To lead and position community clinics, health centers and networks through advocacy, education, and services as key players in the health care delivery system to improve the health status of their communities.

Purpose of Position: Lead the development and management of programs and projects that enhance the capabilities of community health centers and consortia in their local health care delivery system as well as advance the work of the CPCA. Provide an advanced level of skilled duties including project management, training and technical assistance, education and advocacy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development, production, and implementation of organizational marketing and communications strategies.
  2. Develops and maintains tracking mechanisms to analyze and report responses to organizational marketing and communications initiatives.
  3. Research industry trends to identify new opportunities and ways to improve strategies.
  4. Meets with internal departments to determine marketing needs and identify priority areas for communications and marketing.
  5. Coordinates and oversees social media channels and website content development.
  6. Serves as the CPCA brand ambassador, ensuring alignment on and dissemination of standardized branding guidelines, practices and usage across the organization and in external materials.
  7. Oversees CPCA website content, micro-site development, and updates as necessary.
  8. Creates marketing materials, collateral, and announcements as needed.
  9. Oversees publication development including Annual Reports, Newsletters, Event Programs, and others as needed.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  1. Act as the lead in project and program management expertise including implementation and evaluation.
  2. Develop a high level of expertise in assigned content areas to provide guidance and technical assistance to staff and Association membership.
  3. Assist with grant and budget management, contract development and reporting.
  4. Strong presentation and written communication skills.
  5. Effective interpersonal and professional skills when engaging with Association membership and Board of Directors, vendors and partners.
  6. Work collaboratively with senior leadership and multi departmental teams.
  7. Serve as lead staff to designated peer networks, work groups, task forces and committees.
  8. Supervise, train and evaluate staff.
  9. Advanced problem solving, critical thinking, organization and time management
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web based applications and platforms.
  11. Self-direct, recommend strategic direction and influence change;

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred. Minimum of five years program or project management or equivalent experience. Experience with community health centers, member-driven associations, or non-profit organizations is also preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.

Association Expectation:

Due to network security this position requires the employee to have a cell phone with a data plan and home internet service, both are reimbursed at a set rate each month. All hires are required to maintain residence in California. This is a hybrid position with employees coming into the office.

Compensation: $103,800 - $115,332 + Excellent Benefits
