We are seeking an Associate Performance Analyst in the Operations/Reporting department of our wealth management firm, located in Cleveland, Ohio. The candidate will be focused on aggregating, reconciling, and reporting of alternatives investments and a variety of other non-alternative investments tracked in-house.
This position offers work from home flexibility 2-3 days per week.
The position responsibilities include:
- Tracks and reconciles alternative investments and other manually tracked investments to prepare for monthly reports, meeting reports and quarterly reports
- Monitors alternative investment transactions
- Coordinates capital calls and distributions between the managers and internal teams
- Reconciles performance to manager reported returns and investigates discrepancies
- Communicates with other colleagues as well as with custodians, managers, and clients to collect data
- Saves manager valuation statements and other necessary documents posted by the manager
- Onboards new client alternatives
- Adheres to Clearstead's reconciliation standards and procedures
- Completes administrative tasks such as setting-up accounts, saving documents, assisting others on various requests and data collection
- Data Management and Analytics Projects: completes additional platform projects to increase efficiencies
- Completes other duties as assigned
Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
- 1-2 years of related experience within a financial services firm a plus
- Strong understanding of alternative investments, particularly private equity, a plus
- Strong analytic skills and the ability to think strategically
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, written, and oral communication skills and business maturity while working proactively in a client-focused entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work under pressure, organize and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong computer proficiency (e.g. Word, Excel (formulas and pivot tables), Adobe, PPT and Outlook)
- Strong team player
