Job Description:

The Applicant Liaison Analyst contributes to the application management and selection processes for the Gilman Program. The position is the primary point of contact with Gilman applicants, develops communications to this large audience, and advises other team members on communications and policies. The Analyst specifically advises and trains on selection processes and other application system aspects within the Gilman Program.

Essential Functions:

Serves as main point of contact for Gilman applicants; responds to general phone and e-mail inquiries about the application and/or selection process; advises and trains staff on liaising with applicants, especially for high-volume time periods.
Creates and updates applicant resources and materials, including presentations for public audiences and mass communications through the application system.
Analyzes and evaluates both routine and non-routine application and selection data, ensuring accuracy of data and recommending solutions to management.
Leads, advises, and trains department on the application system and its capabilities across the program life cycle and leads virtual series with external representatives and various external audiences.
Provides guidance and explanation of application and selection processes, including recommending areas for improvement in systems and materials.

The Institute of International Education ("IIE") has a hybrid work environment that allows team members a combination of in-office work and telework at any of the locations listed above.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

At least five years of experience in payments process and communicating with external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive with demonstrated ability to think creatively and navigate policies.
Good organization skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and manage a large volume of work under severe time constraints and pressures, demonstrating an ability to recommend improvements or changes to processes.
Ability to advise and train others on tasks, processes, and policies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate knowledge of working with Microsoft Office Suites.

Salary Range:$50,039 - $63,988. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity, and geographic region.
