We are seeking a full-time Accounting Manager who is part of a dynamic Finance and Accounting team. This role is flexible in terms of work location. It can be based out of our Canal Winchester, Ohio facility while also working remotely from home.

As an Accounting Manager at Capsa, your contributions to the team will include:

• Responsibility for daily, weekly and monthly accounting activities
• Ensuring the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close process
• Making recommendations to the Controller for developing and maintaining accounting principles, internal controls and procedures to ensure accurate and timely accounting data
• Researching and analyzing proposed accounting updates and then developing appropriate procedures to ensure their proper adoption
• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources to enhance the workflow of the department while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Work with the outside audit firm to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit

What we ask of you:

• Bachelors degree required with a major in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years experience in related field
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft office programs and working knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems (Syteline preferred)
